Compliance Manager £50K-65K + 20% Bonus + bens London/Essex An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Manager to join this cutting-edge global business and fit in with their Audit and Compliance Team at the Head Office in East London/M25 area. The purpose of this role is to manage the compliance team and develop, maintain and promote business management systems and compliance framework against standards, laws and best practises. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Audit and Compliance and will have responsibility for playing a key role in defining the Company's compliance framework this will include implementing, maintaining and continuously developing the compliance framework. Key challenges: * Develop, maintain and manage the Company's business management systems in accordance with the requirements of relevant ISO standards as needed * Develop and maintain the Company's compliance framework in order to ensure that the Company is compliant with the relevant laws and regulations * Accountable for the performance and results of the Compliance team * Leads and coaches the team including accountability for performance reviews, pay recommendations, recruitment and on-going colleague development * Prepare the Compliance audit plan and priorities to address resource and operational challenges * Manage and undertake planned audit assignments both internally and externally * Prepare the draft audit report to a high technical standard and presentation quality and enhances its content based on application of knowledge and experience * Provide advice and recommendations to the business regarding changes, developments in standards, legislations and other requirements * Prepare and deliver ISO standards awareness training as appropriate * Act as a business partner to build effective relationships with stakeholders and fully support them in ensuring continued compliance * Achieve buy in to compliance through effective communication at all levels within the business Knowledge and Experience Requirements: Practical knowledge of compliance related regulations from a commercial perspective (not Financial services or Banking ). * Experience of implementing integrated business management system and compliance culture improvement in a large existing organisation * Experience of reviewing business regulations, UK legislation and/or ISO standards, designing and delivering an operational plan to meet these requirements * Demonstrable leadership skills * Experience of embedding a compliance culture with multiple stakeholders * Demonstrable strong project management and administration skills * Knowledge of anti-bribery, data protection and UK Slavery Act * Relevant HSE or comparable accreditation for example NEBOSH, Diploma, EMEA qualified, CISA) * Lead Auditor training certification for ISO standards Please click on the 'apply' button to send your CV details.
