Communications & PR Executive                                                          Stevenage     Job Details 35 hours per week (Additional hours as required)   Reporting to the General Manager, key accountabilities and responsibilities include: * Developing strategic marketing and communication plans for the business and services. * Research and write press releases, features and articles to promote all the services offered by the Furniture Industry Research Association and FIRA International. * To provide PR support to FIRA, FIRA certificate holders (GOLD, Ergonomics Excellence, FISP etc) * Identify compelling story angles and proactively pitch to the media for articles, features and radio/TV interviews * Research and identify clients & members for case studies for the press * Exploit social media channels to drive awareness of the Company * Event management: to work with the marketing team to plan and execute trade exhibitions, open days, seminars * Launch events of new products and services * To manage the production of key marketing communications collateral e.g. Annual Reviews etc   What Are We Looking For * Previous PR experience is essential of digital, print, and if possible broadcasting (radio) * Some event management experience, including event planning & execution   Who Are We Looking For * Be able to use own initiative and lead projects from start to finish * Ability to project manage and have a good eye for detail * Happy to work in a dynamic environment and be a team player * Excellent written skills to cover a broad range of styles (press releases, blogs, case studies, features, etc) for trade press, broadsheet and online   Exova offers competitive salary and benefit packages commensurate with experience and also the opportunity for further training and career prospects.
