A great opportunity for a dynamic commercial professional to join a leading organisation as a Commercial Officer. Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Officer;. Ensuring Company commercial governance, compliance and control is adhered to in terms of customer account management, pricing and proposals, contract and change negotiation. Minimising contractual and commercial risk and exposure, whilst maximising profit opportunity. Customer point of contact for commercial account management related issues with regard to contractual & commercial matters. Advice, assistance and guidance on a wide range of commercial matters to members of the business unit team. Collation of commercial data as required for business unit bids and projects. Involvement in the development and implementation of commercial policy, procedure and practice. Personal Specification of the Commercial Officer;. Degree qualified or equivalent within a relevant discipline. Professional qualifications would be an advantage. Proven experience of Commercial contracting, negotiation and administration. Working knowledge of pricing, terms and conditions and other contractual documentation. A working knowledge of trade control issues. Strong communication, negotiation & Stakeholder Management skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to work using own initiative and to prioritise effectively. This role would suit a candidate with experience in the following positions; Commercial Accounts Manager, Contracts Officer, Commercial Officer, Contracts Engineer.
