PHOENIX CENTRE, RAIGMORE HOSPITAL, INVERNESS SURGICAL DIVISION CHILD AND ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST – BAND 8A Part-time, 30 hours per week, Fixed term until 31st October 2020 Salary scale: £42,414 - £50,470 pro rata Applicants should be qualified Clinical Psychologists, with suitable experience in child and adolescent mental health and extensive experience in working with Children and Young People with mental health problems within a Specialist CAMHS. CAMHS in north NHS Highland (Highland council region) is a specialist multi-disciplinary team based in Inverness, but providing clinics across a large rural geography. We also have clinicians based in more remote localities who are supported by the centrally based team. Primary mental health workers, employed by our partner agency Highland Council, are in place across Highland. This post is part of exciting further developments within CAMHS in NHS Highland. The post holder will work closely with other professionals within the CAMHS service as well as with other professionals out with the CAMHS team. Clinical Psychology has a strong presence in NHS Highland CAMHS and we are always keen to develop new ways of service delivery to meet the challenges faced by a large mixed rural/urban population, a vast geography and government targets. Innovation is welcomed, professional and clinical development is valued.
