As a design and manufacturing specialist, the client has the capability to take an idea, develop the design, build and manufacture the product. Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and keen Civil & Structural Technician to work at the clients site in Bristol. The role will incorporate Civils and Structural work across a variety of nuclear projects, both decommissioning and new build. The company faces complex engineering issues and projects focus on strengthening current structures, design solutions, and building renovation. In relation to structural work the projects will be related to re-enforced concrete and stainless steel. The majority of civils work will be formed from roads and drainage projects. The successful candidate will be expected to be an expert in Autodesk REVIT for detailed design. This is a new and growing capability within the organisation and is a great opportunity. The function supports Mechanical and EC&I projects across a number of programmes. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in a similar role is essential Previous design experience in concrete and steel Experienced users of Autodesk REVIT Relevant Civil & Structural qualifications, HNC level and higher or equivalent Any experience of CSC software TEDDS & Fastrak Nuclear experience is desirable Business Information Modelling (BIM) Vectorworks experience would be useful.
