Citrix Specialist - Hatfield Im currently recruiting for an exciting and exclusive opportunity to join a market leader in infrastructure services. You will be joining a cutting edge and brand new team who are completely transforming how this organisation will be run. Job Description My Client has built a brand new IT service capability at their head offices in Hatfield. The End User Computing Specialist will provides 2nd and 3rd line support in a small group of 3, each reporting to the Infrastructure Services Manager. This position will be filled by someone with a deep technical understanding of End User Computing, in a Microsoft and Citrix environment. You will hold relevant Microsoft qualifications and be primary administrator of the domain(s). Many of these services will be moved to an Amazon Web Services Infrastructure platform, so skills managing in this area are high desirable. My Client has a number of solutions are based on SharePoint. Expertise in the supporting infrastructure and technology is required, to support the application support team that also resides in the Infrastructure tower. Key responsibilities *Provide 2nd/3rd line support for the Microsoft End User Computing environment and eco-system in an on-premise, colocation and Amazon Web Services environment *Experience in service and operations management, process, tools and systems. *Participate in the change projects, from an operational perspective, plan and build operational capability for both the current and future environments. *Contribute you skills and expertise to resolve incidents, improve performance and availability, problem solve complex integration issues and implement automation for production and development *Contribute to the service and operational improvement programmes *Work closely with the suppliers and systems integration partners to manage escalations and problem resolution, specifically with the application support team *Keep your knowledge up to date in a fast moving and evolving cloud computing solutions *Ensure the infrastructure is secure; manage data and systems availability, access control and service continuity to agreed standards that stand up to audit scrutiny. Key skills and qualifications *Deep understanding of end user computing back end infrastructure in Microsoft and Citrix environments, either virtualised on VMware or AWS. *Broad understanding of Microsoft SharePoint Online or 2007, ideally in AWS environments. *Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - your thrive when presented with a technical challenge *Ability to manage supplier performance and obligations *ITIL qualifications, awareness of programme and project management *A technical background with qualifications with Microsoft and Citrix. *Cross training will be provided for Office 365 services and on-premise/cloud integration, but we are very interested in candidates who have already begun this journey.
