The Mere Resort are looking for an experienced rosette standard CDP to join their brigade. Overseeing a section of the kitchen, you will be responsible for assisting with the supervision and training of the demi CDP’s and Commis chef’s. This role is varied, with the opportunity to gain full exposure to all stations within the kitchen, with great career progression opportunities. The Role: Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins To actively participate in menu development, planning and production.
