It is provided by leading consultants from many of Londons top teaching hospitals.About The Role (Duties):As the Surgical Sister you will work alongside the General Surgical ward manager and oversee the daily running of the Surgical department ensuring staffing levels are appropriate for the need of the patients. A hands on role, the Surgical Sister will find themselves assessing and implementing patient tailored care plans.In order to develop you in your role as Surgical Sister you will get additional training in developing staff and will take responsibility for teaching staff members at all levels.This is the perfect role for a Surgical Sister to develop their skills and experience in other areas of medicine including Oncology.About The Individual:RGN with valid NMC PINSignificant post-graduate experience within an acute surgical/orthopaedic environmentPrior experience as a Sister leading a teamPrevious experience of dealing with consultantsPrevious oncology experience would be desirableBenefits:Well look after you with our contribution pension scheme, the use of all facilities for acute medical conditions, annual salary review, 25 days holiday each year and access to a fantastic flexible benefits scheme.
