Catering Assistant - Central NorthamptonPerm : temp to permSalary : £6.70/hrHours : Part time (15-30hrs/wk) DescriptionOur client, is a fast growing contract caterer within Northampton. They have 4 catering units around the town, shortly to be more, and work to the highest standard, but are also a social enterprise running training, work experience and back-to-work programmes for a wide range of clients. They currently require 2 Catering Assistants for their Northampton sites to start as soon as available. You should be hard working, reliable, outgoing - passionate about your work. Ideally the successful applicant will initially start on a temporary contract with a view to being made permanent. Applicants will be required to work between Monday to Friday : one role starts 8-8.30 (we can be flexible) with a 2.30pm finish (minus 30 minute of unpaid breaks across the day) in a busy portakitchen, 5 days a week. The other role is 10am - 3pm for 4 or 5 days a week (minus 20mins of unpaid breaks across the day).NB : We also maintain a number of staff associates who wish to work on an ad-hoc basis to cover holidays, extra functions, evening/weekend working etc so if you are looking for part-time/flexible/extra work please also feel free to send in your details.You should have experience in a similar catering role and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills. An understanding of food related health - safety is also desirable although full training can be given. A comprehensive understanding of English is required.
