Allied Healthcare have some fantastic opportunities available and we are currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator to work for our well-established branch in Elgin. Working within an exciting and friendly office environment coordinating care calls for our care workers. Allied Healthcare have been providing personal care and support to assist people who wish to maintain an independent lifestyle in their own home for more than 40years, and are currently the UKs leading domiciliary care provider, providing over seventeen million hours of care every year. We also have our own Learning and Development team where you can continue or begin your professional development. There will be a great variety of tasks that you will be required to undertake as a Care Coordinator including: * To assist in the day to day coordination of the care hours including arranging for emergency cover when required. * Allocating care staff and ensuring rotas are in order, completed and sent out in ample time. * Define special care needs and monitor and review personalised care plans. * Participate in training. * Provide written reports on complaints, accidents and incidents. * Health and safety. * Review meetings. * Provide excellent levels of customer service at all times . There will be an element of on-call that you will be required to cover which will consist of one evening per week and one weekend in four. The Person: We are looking for someone who can think outside of the box, someone that isnt afraid to explore new ways of working and someone with some experience of the care industry would be advantageous. The position is mainly office based, but you may have the opportunity to spend time out in the field on client visits, supervisions, training and delivering some hands on care. All new employees will undertake a training course for our care workers where you will learn all the relevant skills you need to enable to you deliver care correctly.
