We are looking for caring and passionate individuals to join our team of Care Assistants, who will be responsible for providing support to our clients in the comfort of their own home. We are holding immediate interviews for Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas. Wed love to hear from people who want to begin or continue their career in care, as we offer an interactive induction, care coaching as well as further training. This will work towards your QCF (NVQ) in Health and Social Care. The duties of a Care Assistant include all elements of personal care; from washing and bathing to companionship. We have full and part time roles available, with a shift pattern of 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 10pm. There is a requirement of weekend work. We can also offer weekend only work. Benefits of working as a Carer for Allied Healthcare include: Flexible working hours Zero hour or guaranteed hours contract* Weekly pay Paid holidays Free training Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Applicants must be drivers with daily access to a vehicle. * Guaranteed Hours will be subject to qualification criteria including successful completion of a three month training/probation period.
