We are looking for caring and passionate individuals to join our team of Re-Ablement Care Assistants, who will be responsible for encouraging and motivating customers with a variety of needs to regain their independence and live the life they want in their own home. We are holding immediate interviews for: Oswestry town centre, Ellesmere, St Martins, Whittington, Pant, West Felton, Morda, Gobowen, Ruyton 11 Towns, Wem. Wed love to hear from people who want to begin or continue their career in care, as we offer an interactive induction, care coaching as well as further training. This will work towards your QCF (NVQ) in Health and Social Care. The duties of a Re-Ablement Care Assistant include: Supporting people leaving hospital to regain their independence in their own homes. Motivating your customer to work towards the goals they have created Supporting customers to improve mobility and being part of the community. Assisting with personal care (washing, bathing and toilet needs) Administration of medication Meal preparation Light domestic duties We have full and part time roles available, with a shift pattern of 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 10pm. There is a requirement of weekend work, which would be on an alternate basis. We can also offer weekend only work.
