Technical Capital Accounting Manager opportunity within one of Londons G15. Leading a small team and taking full ownership of fixed asset register integrity and financial reporting. Client Details Large Housing Association, based in London with a large Development portfolio and an asset register value of over £3bn. Having gone through a transformation within Development Finance, this organisation are now looking for a talented Capital Accounting Manager to help them in delivering a high quality service to the development and sales teams. Having gone through a transformation within Development Finance, this organisation are now looking for a talented finance professional to help them in delivering a high quality service to the development and sales teams. Reporting into the Head of Department, the main duties and responsibilities are below: Manage the content and data quality of the Groups fixed asset registers, including sub-ledgers for Housing Properties, investment Properties, Housing Grant, Homebuy Loans other fixed assets and funds, ensuring all entries are compliant with FRS102 and Housing SORP. Design, implement and critically evaluate regular reconciliations between the Groups fixed Asset registers and other asset records including Northate Keystone, IT asset registers, and IMS Grant records Advise on the organisations capitalisation policy, providing high levels of customer service in respect of requests to capitalise costs Produce accurate and timely audit schedules and statutory accounting notes for the Group Profile The Capital Accounting Manager must be an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified accountant, with strong technical expertise in financial accounting and / or audit as a minimum. The ideal candidate will come from a Social Housing, House Building or professional services background. This role is suited to a qualified professional who wants to pursue a career as a technical expert. Job Offer £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
