Due to continued growth and a very healthy order book a Curtain Walling, Cladding and Fabrication specialist company are keen to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Designers. The company fulfil a full design service dealing directly with the client, architects, installers and contractor to ensure complete client realisation of brief. The company are keen to see applications from both Intermediate and Senior Designers who can demonstrate a complete knowledge and skill set in producing curtain wall, glazing and cladding design drawings to client briefs. Coupled with the associated fabrication drawings and material call offs to allow manufacture of all component elements of the design. The senior roles will also entail managing technical queries via RFI procedures and commission structural calculations, the production of design concepts, the supporting sketches and full detailed technical drawings. Quality check document packages prior to final issue and liaising with client to obtain final approval. You will also produce fabrication drawings, cutting list and glazing schedules for client procurement. Produce design programs cross linked to all projects to fully control resources and deliver drawings in a timely manner. You must be fully conversant with Autocad and BIM, Logical and 3D experience would be an advantage but are not essential. The Intermediate Design roles will encompass the production of detailed technical drawings for the design of a range of façade, cladding, rainscreens and associates external modern building specs. Produce fabrication drawings, cutting list and glazing schedules for client procurement. You will be fully conversant with Autocad and be able to demonstrate a working knowledge and history of creating drawings for similar projects. Above qualifications the most import thing my client is looking for is a work history and understanding of design within the cladding and curtain walling field.
