Job description:
Business Readiness & Development- Fixed Line consultant required by my client a global software and services organisation for an initial 1 year contract based in London paying between £400 - £475 per day . The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Fixed line into enterprise. Key Activities. *Identify, engage and onboard customer's Change Agents that will work with my clients team through the business impact assessment and deployment planning and execution stages. *Lead a team of business analysts through business impact analysis based upon client Subject Matter Expert interviews and target business process analysis. *Compile an executive summary of impacts identified per Business Area. *Lead the definition of action plans to address significant people, process, and technology changes (deployment planning). *Align action plans with other major programme activities such as UAT, Training and Migration and coordinate input to the project's master plan. *Lead the definition of a detailed cutover plan (hour by hour), go/ no-go checklist & acceptance plan. *Provide guidance and coaching to the customer's teams throughout the implementation to ensure that all deployment activities are completed in a timely manner and to a high quality. *Help define a comprehensive approach to assist leaders, Globe associates, and partners in transitioning from the current state to the new system and processes. Requirements. *3-5 years' experience in guiding clients through the identification, analysis and mitigation of business impacts from major system implementations. *Have led similar activities in a large complex multi-disciplinary environment. *Strong strategic perspective - Can lead identification of requirements, develop plans, and identify risks and issues. *Strong project management skills - Can effectively organize activities, manage a workplan, work collaboratively with others, drive to deadlines and manage risks and issues. *Strong communication sills - Able to tell a story in concise and impactful ways, able to deliver effective oral and written communications (including presenting). *Strong PowerPoint skills - Able synthesize information into visually impactful and well organized documents. *Strong Excel and MS Project skills. *Fast learner and developer - Able to come up to speed quickly on issues and to quickly turn around ideas and documents. *Effective Leader - Able to establish relationship with stakeholders. Able to lead a team of consultants/ customer resources in producing high quality deliverables in line with the project's timelines.
