LOCATION: Berwick – upon - Tweed JOB TITLE: Business Manager SALARY & BENEFITS: Starting from £30,000 depending on experience WORKING HOURS: Full Time, Monday – Friday 9-5pm and a Saturday shift on a rota basis THE COMPANY: Established in 1939 our client is a family run engineering business who have continued to maintain their reputation for high standards of work carried out in the agricultural, marine and manufacturing sectors of industry . They are now recruiting for a Business Manager to join their small, friendly team. THE ROLE: As a Business Manager you will be responsible for provide an efficient quality engineering function for the businesses in Berwick and surrounding districts. You will need to promote a good working atmosphere and gain the confidence of staff and employees at all levels. Key Responsibilities of a Business Manager is to include:-Establish and maintain a customer serving attitude throughout the business.Maintain up-to-date operational procedures for all engineering activities.Maintain the site in a safe, tidy and secure state.Report the factory’s performances regularly and accurately, together with other matters of importance, to the Managing Director in whatever form he may require.THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Business Manager role based in Berwick – upon – Tweed will have previous managerial experience and will be a strong leader. You will need to be customer focussed, people friendly and business minded. You will expected to maintain good employee relations, assist with budget control and continuously seek operational and business improvements on the site.
