Role Working for an  established property investment company  the business development manager will be responsible for building a strong market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with agents and identifying and developing these business opportunities. Key responsibilities include: – Locating business deals by contacting potential companies; discovering and exploring opportunities Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts Protecting organisation’s value by keeping information confidential Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities: reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations Working closely with the Marketing and Sourcing departments to design and execute pre-agreed strategies built around developing new business growth Maintaining existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth Developing accurate business reports through research and market analysis Person You will be a  proven business developer  with a track record of  hitting targets. You’ll know how to close, motivate and prospect for new leads. Strong presentation skills, and an in-depth  market knowledge  are a must. It is essential that you have at least 5 years’ sales experience, preferably within the investment property sector. You must have excellent negotiation skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team. Travel is a vital element of this position. Package The base salary is £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience (OTE £85,000).
