An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UKs foremost business support organisations, working within the re:launched training and consultancy division. With an already strong reputation, they are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to take the business to the next level. This is a newly created position designed to drive growth with new and existing clients using their Blue:Chip and SME portfolio as a foundation. The business aspires to excel in the next 12 months and there is real opportunity for the right person to go places. With a proven track record of end:to:end sales using a consultative approach ideally in a B2B Learning and Development/HR and/or Customer Service environment, youll be solely responsible for driving and implementing the sales strategy. Working closely with a dedicated marketing and delivery team, taking to market newly created and existing propositions to drive ambitious growth targets, you will follow up on campaigns as well as creating your own opportunities from a blend of warm and cold leads. Activities will include: : Direct sales of consultancy and training solutions at a senior decision maker level : Working with the marketing team to generate, follow up and qualify and manage new leads through to closed sales : Generating own leads from cold for new client acquisition : Creating and implementing a successful long:term sales strategy : Carrying out sales visits to potential new and existing customers : Creating commercially focused sales proposals : Gaining market insight to inform new product development and marketing activity : Continually acquiring relevant knowledge and skills to enhance your sales skills and capability Desirable skills and experience: : Strong commercial understanding of the components that businesses require in developing their strategy, people, systems and processes to drive business performance : A self:starter with the perseverance and determination to succeed : A strong and confident influencer and negotiator, dealing at director level : Results motivated : Refined communication skills and excellent at engaging with all stakeholders : Able to manage your time and administration effectively : Collaborative by nature and a strong team player Salary and Benefits: As well as benefitting from strong personal development opportunities the right candidate can expect GBP32k : GBP40k basic salary + uncapped commission; car allowance; 10.5 non:contributory pension; 26 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, life assurance and income protection This role is based in Welwyn Garden City with frequent travel nationwide.
