Whether it's providing corporate, private client, treasury, debt or fund administration or shareholder and employee solutions, The Business Development team requires an Assistant to deliver the highest level of administrative support to the Business Development team. Key Objectives: To assist the Sales Team in terms of: * The tender process * Preparing proposals * Contracts and agreements * Customer Due Diligence * Management Reporting * Events * Market research * Preparing presentations * General admin duties - organising travel/booking meeting rooms Responsibilities: * Assist with the tender process - proposal through to appointment: o Review Request For Proposal (RFP) documentation o Create and review proposal documents o Assist with the preparation of presentations o Prepare draft agreements o Dispatch agreements and documentation to clients o Manage changes to Agreements under BD Manager supervision o File, archive and manage all tender related information efficiently o Handle incoming enquiries where possible, when the Sales Manager is not present o Ensure NCA's are completed in a timely manner o Liaise with the Customer Due Diligence team to ensure the CDD process is completed effectively o Ensure Finance are advised of new business in a timely manner o Maintain the business pipeline for past/present/future opportunities o Gain a competent knowledge of the Share Registration and Share Plans markets o Ensure that Capita procedures are properly adhered; FCA, AML and CDD o Prepare weekly report departmental reports * Arrange weekly/monthly team meetings and prepare any necessary documentation * Assist with travel arrangements and organisation of meetings * Undertake ad-hoc market research * Contact intermediaries to arrange appointments * Maintain up-to-date client/prospect lists (salesforce) * Prepare all relevant monthly reports and MI Essential Experience / Skills: * Willingness to develop industry knowledge * Excellent Interpersonal skill * Willingness to enhance Business Development experience * The ability to work well under pressure, be proactive and multi-task * Strong attention to detail * Drive and desire to succeed in order to reach company and personal targets Desired Experience/Skills: * Experience working within a share registrar / share plan or employee benefit environment (or related services) Personal Attributes: * Focussed and self-motivated * Flexible Team player What's in it for you?
