Our Client is a highly rated global asset manager managing over 100bn in assets, they are look for a Business Analyst with at least 5 years' experience in the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a remarkable company and project yourself further in your career. You will be a process driven individual, be highly accurate and have a good understanding of Operations as a whole. You will have to have a good understanding of thinkFolio and Bloomberg programs, and have excellent IT skills. The role sits in the Global Investment IT team and is directed at delivering new instruments to the business. The team comprises of project managers, subject matters experts, and business analysts; all of who are highly focused and talented individuals. The role involves looking at all new instruments and including an in-depth analysis of derivatives and operations. You should be able to adhere to stick deadlines and be able to implement a quick turnaround. Key Requirements and Responsibilities:. - Deliver operational solutions across the business. - Creating and analysing new instrument prospects. - Operational project and resource management. - Derivative analysis. - Translate new instrument requirements into product specifications. - Manage the end to end process of new instrument projects, including the testing process and sign-off process; ensuring that new products are operationally sound. - Derivative testing. - Project management. Qualifications and skills:. - finance, business, or computer oriented degree. - CFA is advantageous. - A deep understanding of the investment industry and the investment process. - Front office experience, and knowledge of applications such as thinkFolio and Bloomberg. - Derivatives expertise is must. - Highly organised, numerate, and able to cope under pressure.
