Business Analyst, Information Technology Asset Management London, Permanent £55,000 (Assistance Vice President) BA, IT, Asset Management, Data, Data Architecture, Data Management, SQL, Data Warehouse A leading global asset management group is hiring a Business Analyst to work within the Middle Office IT Team. Your team deliver change for performance, client reporting, data management and investment operations. You would work with the team to deliver process and technology changes to the business. Responsibilities: * Act as a bridge between the business and IT teams. * Support and provide feedback to project managers, development, testing and business representatives. * Document clear and testable requirements and mapping specifications across small and large change initiatives. * Running workshops and business requirements gathering, data requirements gathering and data analysis * Business process mapping * Translating user requirements into functional specifications * To own and manage the integrity of the functional solution being delivered * Support through the different phases of the project life cycle * Assist in the definition of functional test conditions and expected results * Perform SIT and pre-UAT testing * Organise & facilitate UAT planning and execution where necessary * Provide support during the post implementation warranty period where necessary * Workflow and procedure documentation * Some project management of smaller projects and changes Skills: * Strong MS SQL skills * Structured analysis & design. * Written & oral communication. * Working knowledge of Data Architecture principals. * Understanding of application and data design. * Thorough knowledge of static data, pricing, transaction and valuation data. * Experience of Eagle PACE or other Data Warehouse technologies. * The ability to effectively engage with both business and technology users * Demonstrable experience of interaction with business to capture user requirements
