Job Description As a member of our Bureau ITU nursing team, you could be working in any one of our fantastic hospitals depending on where there is a need. Your key role will be to plan and deliver a first class service to our patients. We make sure that the nurse to patient ratio is low in all of our facilities, which gives you the time to dedicate to the patients you are looking after. Duties & Responsibilities * Plan, implement and evaluate care to meet the needs of the patient and their families/carers * Maintain high standards within the patient environment * Supervise and direct junior staff, promoting a learning environment * Fully document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner * Early recognition of clinical problems and report or take appropriate action * Undertake extended roles such as cannulation, venepuncture and phlebotomy Skills & Experience * RGN with valid NMC pin * Advanced respiratory ventilation, cardiovascular and/or renal care * Cardiac, Neuro, or General ITU/HDU specific skills and experience * Excellent verbal and written English communication skills * Critical Care course would be desirable but is not essential About The Individual The successful candidate must be adaptable as they will be required to work across all of our facilities on a flexible basis. Demonstrating the experience to work within the high standards required, with the skills to work as part of a team is essential. Finally, they will have a passion for customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional customer experience.
