Business Intelligence Developer x2 - London - Permanent - £32,000. A leading government body who are embarking on a transformation programme have instructed Certes to recruit x2 Business Intelligence Developers to pro-actively contribute to the organisations data improvement plan. You will be an integral part of a new function within the technology team responsible for managing the organisation's key data sources and supporting the business in its maturing use of data for business intelligence. Data, reporting and intelligence is the heart of what they do and is critical to the success of their vision. Accountabilities:. Work as a key part of the data improvement programme helping to refine and implement the strategy and ensure our key characteristics of data quality are recognised and adhered to. Work with suppliers to ensure that systems and data stores are managed effectively to support the data needs of the business e.g. integrity, availability, capacity. Provides a coherent and timely reporting function to the business. *Promote and monitor the accuracy of information inputted within any and all systems. *Assist Data and BI Manager to identify and undertake analysis of issues and trends emerging from the data. *Provide reports to the Data and BI Manager in relation to volumes of work and task allocation. *Assist Data and BI Manager in extracting and producing data for annual reports, half yearly and quarterly review reports for the regulator, meeting deadlines agreed by the business. *Provide complex reports, undertaking a wide range of data analysis using SQL and Excel. *Ensure all reports are provided with an accurate methodology helping users understanding the concepts with data. *Provide training and support to other Data and BI analysts, ensuring processes are followed and system changes are accurately documented and updated within the team's SOPs log. Skills:. *SQL 2005/2008/2012 platform and associated tools ( Extensive experience )SSIS/SSAS/SSRS. *Advance level skill for MDX, Dax, OLAP. *Business analytic tools like PowerBI, Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View or similar tools. *Knowledge of Power BI solutions using SSAS AND ETL Tools such as WhereSpace and SSIS.
