A successful family owned building company specialising in insurance repairs is seeking a Bathroom Fitter based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear to join its expanding team to work to a very high standard removing / installing bathrooms, joinery, tiling and pipework. You will receive overtime and wil have use of a company van.The company has been established since 1992 and is a successful construction company specialising in insurance repairs and are an approved contractor for various large insurance companies. The company has a head office in East Yorkshire and then also the North East office in Gateshead.As the Bathroom Fitter your duties will include:• The removal of bathrooms;• Plumbing and installation of new bathroom suites;• Tiling;• Pipework;• Being responsible for completing primarily domestic insurance repair works as per the job card instructions;• Completing works to a high standard, efficiently, liaising with other trades and customer satisfaction;• Joinery.To be a successful Bathroom Fitter you will have the following skills and experience:• Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage;• Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role working in occupied domestic environment;• Insurance related background would be a great advantage;• Tradesmen must be qualified suitable to the trade;• Experience in installation / removal of bathrooms;• 1st and 2nd fix joinery experience;• Tiling experience;• Pipework experience;• Able to self-manage and needs to have the ability to hit deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction;• Able to demonstrate the ability to work as a team and excellent communication skills.In return you will receive a negotiable salary of £12 per hour.Closing date for applicants will be 18th March 2016
