Band 7: Senior 1 Occupational Therapist Pulse has a client who is looking for a Senior 1 Occupational Therapist to work with a caseload of patients within the Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. The Occupational Therapist will provide high quality Occupational Service managing a caseload of patients with complex needs within the Acute Neurological Rehabilitation Unit, using evidence based/patient centred interventions. They will also provide leadership for junior staff through formal supervision and appraisal. The OT will work closely with the inter-disciplinary team to implement care plans and patient-centred goals. They will also deputise for the Lead Occupational Therapist as relevant. The post holder must have a degree in Occupational Therapy with registration with HCPC. They must also have significant post registration experience as an OT including Neurological experience. Ideally they should also have experience of managing a general medicine caseload and supporting/supervising junior staff.
