THE ROLE I am now seeking an ASSOCIATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR, MRICS qualified for a large firm with offices based in SOUTHAMPTON, Hampshire to work on a good range of commercial and residential projects, mainly of high value. THE CLIENT My client is an international firm of consultants providing cost management, project management and other services in the construction industry to a wide range of UK and international clients. Their Southampton office is very busy and has a good spread of work across a number of sectors. THE CANDIDATE You will be an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor who has worked for a firm of PQS in the UK. You will need to have experience of managing a team and you must have good client facing skills. You will need to have good all round experience of the PQS role with good experience of all pre contract, post contract and all round cost management experience. You should have worked on a good range of projects as my client is working on large offices, hotels, retail, mixed use, residential and more. You will be an ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor either working at senior level currently or already working as an Associate with another firm. There will be excellent prospects to move up to Director level for the right candidate. Salary in the region of GBP60 : 75K plus good benefits.
