Assistant manager - Gastro pub/Restaurant with rooms £21k + Tronc - Berkshire Keystone Hospitality is proud to announce a new search for one of their prestigious clients. On this occasion we are searching for an asistant manager for a Gastro pub in Berkshire. We are working on behalf of a privately owned gastro pub company that has sites in Central London and throughout the country. This site in Berkshire is situated in stunning countryside area and is very well known not only to its local residence but incredibly faithful regular customers. As well as the traditional country style pub bar, there is an a la carte restaurant, eight high spec bedrooms and amazing grounds. The kitchen serves seasonal dishes, always from fresh produce sourced as locally as possible to a rosette level standard. Style of service is slick and not stuffy or staid but to a very high standard. The Chefs daily fish, seafood, steak and game specials accompany the a la carte menu and a cracking well considered wine list which has in turn created a strong local following. We are searching for a talented assistant manager with a strong background on F&B and cost control. We would expect a minimum of 2 as an assistant manager and a CV that show progression and preferably some industry related qualifications(NVQ). The perfect candidate: Self motivated Team player Strong and excellent communication skills Creative Still loves to learn Understands, respects and loves good products Ambitious Mindful of health and safety A good understanding of F&B cost and labour forecast The right candidate will be joining a relatively small team that is looked after very well.
