Robert Walters are excited to be working in partnership with a growing UK organisation based in Northampton who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will see the successful candidate assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts, supporting in the production variances and producing the budgets and forecasts. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the production of the monthly management accounts Posting journals Support in the production variance analysis Budgeting & forecasting for key contracts Preparing & developing KPI and business reporting Business partnering with operations and sales department Working closely with other departments to identify opportunities to improve flow of information Other ad hoc analysis Skills, Qualifications & Experience: AAT Qualified or recent Graduate in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent) Someone looking to actively study towards ACCA/CIMA Strong analytical skills Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Intermediate MS Excel This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking organisation at a time of growth and continual success.
