Robert Half are recruiting for a leading manufacturer based near Oldham. They are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The Role The role will involve:- The principal responsibility is to assist the management reporting process. The key responsibility areas are as follows:- - Production of the Excel based management accounts for the consolidated Group. - Production of the monthly cost centre reports for the Group. - Produce monthly management information for managers around the business. - Provide support to the Head of Financial Reporting in the month end consolidation process. - Assist in the production of interim and year end statutory accounts for the Group. - Assist in the production of the yearly budget for the Group. - Ad-hoc analysis to support financial reporting, operational & commercial teams. Your Profile The successful candidate will have:- - Attention to detail - Methodical, rigorous, persistent - Highly organised, diligent, structured - Proficient Excel skills (lookups, pivot, conditional formatting, advanced formulas) and willingness to develop - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to work to tight deadlines - Willingness to learn and apply new things - Strong analytics - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Essential qualifications: - Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA (Training package included) Additional desirable skills, experience and qualifications: - SAP - Desirable - Experience of working in a finance function (multi-national manufacturing organisation is desirable) The Company This is a very exciting opportunity, this is a leading organisation and anyone joining will have every to chance to progress.
