Taylor Shaw is a contract caterer dedicated to providing the best quality fresh food. We work with businesses, schools and colleges of all shapes and sizes across the UK to create healthy meals which taste great in environments which appeal to children and young people. We are looking for an assistant Chef/ Manager to work at our site in Waverley Birmingham You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of catering assistants, providing quality food and refreshments for approximately 200 students plus school staff on a daily basis. You must have an exceptional flair with food and a keen eye for detail. You will also be providing a high standard hospitality service and will have full financial control of the catering service, health & safety and food hygiene at all times. Working hours to be arranged to best suit the needs of the business but will be between 7am and 3,30pm daily, term time only plus 2 weeks in total 40 working weeks with statutory holiday entitlement plus Bank Holidays. Experience of managing a similar team and relevant qualifications are essential to the role. 706/1, 706/2 or professional equivalent qualification. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and will require 2 satisfactory references.
