The Role: Assistant Accountant. Salary: £27,000. Location: Wembley. Start date: Immediately. Working with: Accounts Manager. Company: Londons most specialist soft furnishing cleaners. The successful candidate will work with the Accounts Manager to produce Monthly management accounts and year end reports. This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is looking to join the Accounts team of 3 people in a company size of 28 people. The client is ideally looking for someone who wants to stay and grow within the company. Full training will be provided to develop from an Assistant Accountant to an Accounts Manager. Requirements:. -MUST live within 5-6 miles within Alperton. -Experience within an Assistant Accountant or similar role. -MUST HAVE experience of ALL Accounts procedures ; Sales ledger, Purchase ledger, Payroll, Taxation, Bank reconciliation, pre-payment schedules, record keeping, etc. -Experience of working within a small/medium sized company. -Typing skills should allow self-servicing. -Must be proficient in MS Office ( especially in Word and Excel for management accounts). -Experience of Sage payroll (essential). The Candidate:. -Excellent communication (verbal and written). -Excellent inter-personal skills,. -Self-motivated. -Attention to detail. -Ability to work to deadlines. -Able to work on initiative. -Able to work as part of a team or autonomously.
