Area Sales Manager Britannia Hotels is the largest privately owned Hotel Company in Europe, owning 50 hotels with over 10,000 bedrooms in the UK. In addition the Group owns 6 Pontins holiday parks with over 4,000 apartments. There has been significant expansion in recent years and we are now seeking to attract high calibre Area Sales Managers with Hotel management exposure to join our “hands on” executive team in The Midlands, The North West and The South. The role will include, but is not limited to; · Visiting units and reporting findings to Senior Management · To assist in developing company policy and strategies in respect of sales · To assess the performance of staff and the quality of sales provided in all areas of the hotel and Park operation. · To assist Sales staff including General Managers and Operations Managers in the achieving maximum operational profitability for their unit. · Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans · Develop relationships with clients · Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets · Maximise new business development opportunities · Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume Proven track record of sales experience within the Hotel industry is essential for this role.
