Job Title: Assistant Architect (Part 1) / Architect Technician Salary: £18,000-£22,000 Location: Leeds Owing to continued success we are seeking an Architectural Assistant (Part I) or established Architectural Technician to join a well established RIBA chartered practice based in Leeds. This practice offers a full range of services from inception through to completion working with a wide range of Clients in various sectors with a particular focus on the residential / housing and education arena. The practice has been established over 40 years and operates from its Leeds and London office. Prospective candidates must have a good understanding of UK residential construction, Building Regulations and planning procedures as well as proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and REVIT. The role would be to join a team of talented Architects working on a variety of projects within the residential and education sector, working closely with clients to ensure smooth project delivery. While the role is based in Leeds, you will be required to regularly liaise with clients up and down the country, so a full UK driving licence is preferable. The ideal candidate will have: · A good understanding of UK residential construction, Building Regulations and planning procedures. · Excellent technical and computer skills · Understanding of contracts administration · Confidence to take the lead on multiple projects at once This is an excellent opportunity to join a practice that has excellent staff retention and offers career progression for their employees.
