Job Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person to join a market leading, award winning medical software house in the role of Application Support Officer. The Application Support Role: * First & second line application support according to customer service level agreement's * Application configuration based on process reviews and system requirements * Provision of out of hours /on call service / working shift patterns / site visit as required by the business * Assisting with Project Management Personal Qualities: * You should be a friendly, flexible and enthusiastic individual * High quality customer services skillset * Experience in a Helpdesk or Support desk environment * Understanding of IT software implementation * The ability to solve problems in a creative, efficient and methodical manner * The ability to prioritise and execute tasks * The capability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative * The ability to pick up new skills quickly and easily * Excellent verbal and written communication * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications * Basic understanding of: o Microsoft SQL Server o Microsoft IIS Server o Networking Qualifications and Experience: * Minimum of three A Levels (English is desirable) at Grade C or above * A degree/equivalent professional qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related discipline preferred * ITIL qualified desirable * A minimum of 1 years' experience of working in an IT environment To apply please click on the APPLY NOW link attaching your Full CV and Covering Letter.
