Analytical Engineer needed for leading a Pharmaceutical company based in Nottingham. We can offer £40K-£70K + Benefits. We are currently recruiting for an Analytical Engineer. This role will give you a unique opportunity to join a rapidly evolving team in an Engineering organization operating globally. You will be part of the team bringing true innovation to the industry through sophisticated technology. This role will make a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of the Analytics Team as a component of the System Information Design function within the Scaled Agile Framework, and as such the role must be oriented towards team work in an emerging and flexible environment. We are looking for an Analytical Engineer who doesn't like to be pigeon-holed into one role, but look beyond the platform's current direction and who is able to anticipate what needs to be in place in six months to support future platform development and growth. The day-to-day tasks of the infrastructure and relevance engineers on the team range from building a global infrastructure that handles millions of requests per second to development of powerful ranking algorithms based on statistical models derived from large data sets as much as intuition. As an Analytical Engineer, you will be responsible for the key components of this platform: reliability and speed. You will build and maintain infrastructure and platform features at scale. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a mix of building and maintaining our distributed back-end systems, improving the efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes, and coding new application features together with the team's Relevance Engineers.
