Dorset County Hospital is situated in the heart of the Dorset countryside only 7 miles from the beautiful Jurassic coast. The Trust is the main provider of acute hospital services to a population of around 250,000 people, living within Weymouth, Portland, West Dorset, North Dorset and Purbeck. The role You will be an expert ultrasound practitioner with established skills and experience in general medical, obstetric, gynaecology, small part, vascular or musculo-skeletal ultrasound. It is expected that you will work closely with lead clinicians and colleagues to develop and improve the service. Attendance at multi-disciplinary meetings, participation in clinical audit and Continuous Professional Development will be actively encouraged and supported. A key role of this post will be the mentoring and development of staff. Although the post is based at Dorset County Hospital, you will be required to participate in the provision of a community wide ultrasound service. Requirements BSc or equivalent HCPC registration or equivalent PG Diploma in Ultrasound MSc/PG qualifications and experience in specialist ultrasound practice Removal Expenses A package of expenses is available to cover the reasonable cost of removal.
