Job description:
University is seeking an experienced Admissions & Marketing Assistant to join their team at their London campus. This is an ongoing temporary role starting ASAP and will pay circa £12.50 per hour. The main duties of the Admissions & Marketing Assistant will be:. `` To assist in the processing of applications submitted by Postgraduate and International applicants on the Central Records System (ISIS) to ensure that university processing targets are achieved within agreed timescales. `` Manage relevant email inboxes on behalf of the Postgraduate and International Admissions Team, ensuring that professional, prompt responses are delivered to all enquiries. `` Support the Admissions Officers in the issue of international applicants who require a student visa. `` To handle and fulfill enquiry response for Postgraduate and International students ensuring a culture of customer service is met as directed by the team's service level agreement. `` To act as a first point of contact and to provide appropriate advice and guidance to customers face to face, via the telephone and electronically. `` To operate an accurate database of applicant details on the ISIS system. `` To support the general work of the Admissions & Enquiry Service. `` Represent the University at student recruitment events and open days. `` Any other task appropriate to the post and in line with University business needs. `` Assist with the organising of events/activities including running the ticket system. `` Responsible for preparing and submitting reports within timescales. `` Maintenance of diaries and calendars within area of responsibility. `` Market Research to conduct Competitor Analysis and preparing information for marketing suppliers. `` Records of events for use on the Marketing channels. `` Social media and student communications. Manages and updates social media channels. Creates/distributes student e-mail communication. ``. The ideal Admissions & Marketing Assistant will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:. `` A minimum of an HNC level qualification or equivalent. `` Demonstrable relevant admissions and marketing experience. `` Experience of Microsoft word, excel and database packages. Working knowledge of ISIS student record system is desirable. `` Working knowledge of Further/Higher Education. `` Experience of working with International customers/students. `` Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. `` A good cultural awareness and excellent customer service skills; sensitive and responsive approach to student needs. `` Experience of assisting on marketing campaigns including producing marketing collateral. `` Social media experience. `` Experience of organising events. `` Experience of conducting market research. `` Knowledge of web-based applications would be advantageous is desirable.
