Administrator Location: Rochester Salary: £19,000 to £21,000 per annum dependent upon experience Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Full Time, Permanent Subject to a 3 month probationary period A local industrial painting company based in Hoo are looking to recruit an experienced, highly organised and meticulous Administrator to add to its office team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the construction industry and perhaps have some experience with quality management systems however this is not essential as we are looking for the right person to join our team. This is a permanent position in a small, friendly, hardworking team, good remuneration and a flexible working environment. Key duties of the Administrator will include but are not limited to: • Weekly payroll & timesheet analysis. • Petty cash processing. • Answering the telephone, taking accurate messages and dealing with incoming e-mail correspondence. • Dealing with general administration (including but not exclusively) producing letters, updating systems, scanning, filing and archiving. • Financial processing – invoices, payment applications, purchase orders, supplier invoices. • Organising occupational health appointments. • Upkeep of databases, trackers, schedules in the form of spreadsheets. • Outlook calendar management. • Word processing and spreadsheet completion. • Manage and arrange vehicle maintenance. • Maintain and order office stationery. • Any other administrative support as required by Managers. Requirements of the Administrator: • Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable for this role but not essential. • Own car & driving licence is a must due to location of the office. References will be contacted. • Recent administration experience required: 2 years • Must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel – please note you may be required to demonstrate this at an interview. • Office 365 & SharePoint experience is very advantageous. • Excellent document presentation and proof reading ability for accuracy. • Must have experience in providing quality general administrative support. • Confident communicator both verbal and written with the ability to compose professional documents and correspondence. • Excellent attention to detail. • Enthusiasm for training and expanding IT skills. • Prepared to work within a construction industry office environment. • An interest in working for a company that strives for H&S, Quality and Environmental excellence. • Desire to obtain a busy, varied, long term position within a small friendly team with lots to learn.
