A large business in Selby is seeking a full time temporary accounts assistant to help with daily accounting tasks in their busy finance function. The suitable candidate will have experience in a high volume finance function and will be immediately available for work. Accounts Assistant key responsibilities:. - Dealing with accounts- up to trial balance. - Daily banking. - Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly bank reconciliations. - VAT Returns. - Prepayments and accruals. - Sales and Purchase ledger duties. - Inputting month end journals. - Posting transactions to general ledger.
