Job Summary: Working as a day to day support to the HR & Finance Manager, you will process weekly payroll and operate a busy sales ledger, to include invoicing, credit notes, posting receipts and full credit control.     LOCATION:DerbyCity Centre   TYPE: Full time (40 hours per week)   PAY DETAILS: £18,000-£24,000 per annum depending on experience.     THE COMPANY: Smart Recruitment is a supplier of temporary and permanent staffing services in the Driving, Industrial and Commercial sectors. We would also be willing to consider someone with a strong administration background, who is interested in working within Finance.   You have a willing and keen attitude to work. We operate within a modern and vibrant environment, offer a competitive salary.   MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   Weekly payroll processing Full sales ledger management including credit control Reporting to the HR & Finance Manager   PERSON SPECIFICATION:   Enthusiastic team player Strong work references Proven track record in the above mentioned Payroll & Accounts functions Knowledge of Sage Line 50 & Sage Payroll Self motivated, with the ability to work proactively on own initiative as well as within a close knit team Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Excellent time management and organisational abilities Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Strong analytical approach and attention to detail A flexible approach to their work   Previous experience working in a Finance or Administration role is essential.
