Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller Kentish Town, London, NW5 Salary: Circa A GBP 22k This position is urgent and we require candidates who can start immediately Exchange Data International (EDI) is a leading provider of Global Reference Data to the Financial Services industry, and is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small but very busy team. Familiarity with/experience using Sage Line 50 Accounts and Excel is essential Tasks of the Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller include: * Credit control * Posting supplier invoices to the ledger (approx. 100 a month); * Posting payments made to suppliers (in multiple currencies) * Raising customer invoices (approx. 30 a month) and posting customer receipts * Bank reconciliations (we maintain accounts in a number of currencies) * Petty cash management * Reconcile employees expenses * Monthly payment of salaries * Daily reporting of bank balances * Other ad hoc duties Skills and experience required in becoming the successful Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller include: * Sage Line 50 Accounts and Excel * Good knowledge of accounting and willingness to develop the accounting function as necessary * Demonstrated ability to identify problems within an office and to develop feasible solutions * Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing * Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both inside and outside the office. * Knowledge of company organisation, functions, responsibilities and procedures If you meet the above criteria then please apply now for an immediate interview TSB01
