Salary A GBP 25,000 : A GBP 35,000 Dependant on Experience : OTE A GBP 40 : 60k+ My client, one of the UKs leading specialists in network security have an exciting opportunity for an external Account Manager working in their corporate sales team based near Bury St Edmunds. Person Description Comfortable on the telephone or at a client meeting you will be self:motivated with an organised, consultative approach to generating your new business opportunities. A proven demonstrable track record of working in an account management environment and a willingness to prospect for your own business is essential. The role will involve account retention and growth : managing existing relationships and introducing new products and services. Although this is not essential as full training will be provided: the ideal applicant will possess an understanding of network security solutions. Job Description This role is within the corporate team to cross sell new vendor products and services in to our existing customers and generate net new business. * Contact and meet existing customers on a regular basis to maintain good relationships, retain existing business and increase business at those existing customers. * Generate and attend external meetings as necessary. * Maintain good relationships with all key suppliers. * Maintain the customer and prospect database. * Improve knowledge of relevant hardware and software by training, discussions with customers/prospects/colleagues and reading relevant publications. * Working to KPIs on calls, product demonstrations, meetings, new opportunities. The role is office based and will require UK travel to meetings, so it is essential you have your own vehicle and a full UK driving license.
