Our client, Logixal Document Solutions Limited, are recruiting an Account Assistant to be based at their city offices close to Old Street at the heart of Tech City. A new company with a long history, established in 2011 they bring sharper, more effective print, voice and data strategies to businesses of all shapes and sizes across the UK. The successful candidate needs to have worked in a fast paced environment where a professional telephone manner is essential. They will need to be able to work towards targets in a pressurised environment and manage their workload effectively. They must also be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing. Experience using Sage Line 50 is essential Key Responsibilities * Chasing Aged Debt * Bank reconciliation * Purchase Ledger activities including invoice Nominal Coding and Posting of invoices * Supplier Statement reconciliations to ensure ledgers are kept up to date * Supplier payments * Processing/Reconciling Direct Debit transactions * Assisting with the Sales Ledger * Nominal Ledger Reconciliations * Analysis and processing of expenses claims * Analysis and processing of credit card payments & Reconciling of Monthly Credit Card Statement * Daily Banking of Cheques * Ability to analyze data and generate reports on a weekly/monthly basis on both sales and purchase ledgers * In addition, from time to time, they may be asked undertake other tasks and responsibilities not covered above in order to achieve project or corporate objectives. Essential Skills * Extensive working knowledge of SAGE LINE 50 and running reports * Experience working on Purchase and Sales ledgers. * Excellent MS Office Excel skills. * Hardworking and dedicated individual * Flexible and enthusiastic * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to work quickly and accurately. * Able to work in a small team of admin staff * Have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken * Be able to multi-task and work to deadlines. * Be a solution driven individual. * Will ideally be studying towards or be AAT qualified Salary £20 - £23000 per annum, depending on experience.
