Our client, a dynamic IT Solutions provider are seeking multi-skilled 2 nd 3 rd Line IT Engineers. You will need to be a good communicator and have proven track record of providing IT solutions in a corporate environment. Communication ability is key and you will be using this skill with clients and the whole support team. You will use your knowledge and minimum of 3 years experience to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. You will be able to effectively work unsupervised as the role includes a great deal of remote working and field work, with certain contracts requiring a site presence for days, weeks or months This permanent position will be available immediately and involve home and office working. Their aim is simple: to provide the finest service by forming long-term relationships that lead to excellent communication. * Actively seeking to improve their clients competitiveness and efficiency. * Our client supplies complete IT solutions - from a single workstation to an entire IT strategy, from web design through to disaster recovery planning Role * 2 nd / 3 rd Line IT Engineer * Solution design and fault resolution * Ensuring systems, policies and procedures are well documented and updated on an ongoing basis * Presales assistance * Diagnose new problems as they arise * Impart knowledge to peers Requirements * The desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges * Time management skills * Logical approach to issues * An ability to capture all relevant data relating to an issue or design specification * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills * MCITP: Server Administrator or Enterprise Administrator * Have a Cisco Qualification or VMwareCitrix Qualification * Minimum of three years relevant IT experience * Must be available asap Required Knowledge should be at least two of the following * Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange * Working knowledge of Citrix XenAppPresentation Server/Vmware (important) * Cisco CallManager, VOIP, SIP * Firewall switch, router knowledge for deployment and design. * Strong Knowledge of DNS, SMTP and Troubleshooting Mail Flow * In depth Understanding of network infrastructure
