2 x Support Worker                                                                              Murray Lodge 40 hours per week plus on call hours £19,546 per annum + Benefits Langley House Trust specialises in providing ex-offenders with accommodation, support and rehabilitation within a caring Christian environment.  Our Murray Lodge project is currently recruiting two Support Workers, working 40 hours a week plus on call hours. We are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable to reflect the Project's challenging and demanding nature. In return, you'll gain experience of working within the criminal justice field, gain relevant training and have the opportunity to further your career by obtaining a relevant qualification. You will spend time working with service users helping them achieve the aims of their care and support plan which you will assist in formulating and reviewing.  Working in a team, you'll maintain case records and liaise with external agencies.  You'll be working 40 hours per week, plus on call cover, and will be required to attend Team Meetings.  Whilst you do not need any specific experience for this role, an understanding of the work we do is a must. In addition to the salary, we offer 20 days holiday pro rata’s (plus bank holidays) in the first year of service, a contributory pension scheme and a Trust holiday flat.
