The 1:1 behaviour mentor Role As a 1:1 behaviour mentor, you will be working on an individual basis with a Year 3 boy who is currently causing a lot of disruption in lessons with his poor behaviour. It has been affecting the teaching and learning in class and the school have now decided to bring in a 1:1 behaviour mentor who can come in and use their people skills and strong personality to really help turn him away from the dark path he is on, and make him see why his behaviour is unacceptable and how it affects others. He is a bright student, but has become disillusioned with learning, so your role as his 1:1 behaviour mentor will be to reintroduce him to fun-filled learning and help him become a respectable member of the local community again!
